SurCom has entered into a partnership with Night Vision Lasers Spain (NVLS) for, among other things, the launch of the QuadEye panoramic night vision goggle. This NVG has been specially developed for improving situation awareness of special units during reduced visibility conditions and in the hours of darkness.
The QuadEye can be fitted with 18mm “image intensifying” tubes from Photonis. The NVG is produced in a magnesium alloy to make the NVG stiffer and lighter than competing products. The weight therefore remains below 700 grams. The special feature of this viewer is the image that this NVG delivers, in which one sees no transitions.
