SurCom has recently been awarded a first contract to supply General Dynamics Mission Systems URC300 Air Traffic Control radios as “last resort radio” ground-to-air connections. This software designed, manpack radio intended use is from fixed infrastructure (e.g. a tent, portcabin or vehicle) but also simply in the field.
