This picture shows the use of FLIR thermal imaging camera's on a vehicle.
The WideEye II gives full coverage over 1800 to the rear of a vehicle, while a PathfindIR provides 360 Field of View (FoV) to the front. Applications are:
- vehicle situation awareness (non-tactical in barracks and tactical during operations);
- force protection;
