Tactical (Link) Repeater System

The family of TRSs can be deployed as standalone package and is ideally suited to quickfit installation in a variety of land, air, and maritime platforms. The combined retransmission and repeater capabilities make the TLRS the ideal system for cross-band repeater linking applications.

The MRC-200A is a Tactical Repeater System (TRS) controlled by a Microblaze Soft Microprocessor implemented on a Xilinx Spartan-3E Field programmable Gate array (FPGA) and is a fully digital update of its predecessor. The TRS is used in conjunction with modern multiband, multimission handheld radio systems to enhance their operation by providing longer range and better overall performance utilizing a series of field interchangeable duplexers and role-type antennas. The TRS supports 20 Watt full duplex operation across the 30-512 MHz band through the use of dedicated receive and transmit radios and a duplexer, which combines their operation on a single antenna. The TRS can be deployed as a standalone package or is ideally suited to quickfit installation in a variety of land, air, and maritime platforms. Repeater based systems support a reliable and flexible communications and provides significant increase in capability for the deployed handheld radio user.

The MRC-200H is a Tactical Repeater System (TRS) and is a fully digital update of its predecessor the MRC-200A. The TRS is used in conjunction with modern multiband, multimission handheld radio systems to enhance their operation by providing longer range and better overall performance utilizing a series of field interchangeable duplexers and role-type antennas.

In addition to the MRC-200A and it's successor, the MRC-200H, the MRC-200L is available providing the same repeater capabilities as the MRC-200A with the added feature of linking two or more repeaters networks or a repeater network and a base station via UHF SATCOM, LOS SINCGARS, LOS HAVEQUICK, LOS FM or LOS AM through the use of a third multiband transceiver and a second 20 Watt amplifier.
