AN/PRC117 Multiband transceiver kit

 
 

McDowell Research Corporation (MRC) has developed complete systems solutions for the AN/PRC-117F Multi-band Transceiver user.The HAR series kits give the user the option of selecting a complete system that meets the end users operational needs. The selection of the proper HAR kit is a single point solution for the transceiver, power supply, mount, remote amplified speaker and SATCOM antenna system. Various combinations of equipment make up each HAR kit so only those items needed for the specific application can be procured.The McDowell Research Corporation HAR series of kits are comprised of field proven components packaged in a single system.

 

Specially designed for the AN/PRC117 the HAR kit consists of the following components:

 

  • power supply:  the MRC-92 universal input power source allowing deployment of the AN/PRC117 worldwide. Specifications: 95-265 VAC, 47-440Hz, 11-36 VDC.
  • mount: the RMT-2 shock mount is supplied for the AN/PRC117 in combination with the MRC-92 allowing "jerk and run" mount application. It securely mounts the transceiver and power system without the use of tools.
  • speaker: the MRC-67 amplified speaker supplied with audio cable, DC cable and AC power supply. Remote from the transceiver with volume control, automatic muting and full handset interface.
